Progress Update April 2022

 

 

 

Earthworks cut and fill operations are substantially complete with excavation works ongoing at Dungiven (Zone F), Drumahoe and Tamnaherin (Zone A). Along with pond excavation works in the Feeny Road area (Zone E) and Dungiven (Zone F) area.

Mainline drainage works substantially complete with outfall works to ponds ongoing at Burntollet (Zone B) and Dungiven. Side road drainage is ongoing at Dungiven and Drumahoe and further works to access tracks are continuing at Munreery (Zone E). Along with side road works ongoing at Tamnaherin, Drumahoe (Zone A) and Dungiven (Zone F).

Accommodation works are ongoing at Tamnaherin (Zone A) and Baranailt Rd (Zone D). Pavements works progressing from Tamnaherin to Claudy, with Claudy to Dungiven substantially complete with fencing operations ongoing around Tamnaherin.

NIW diversions and new installations are underway at Tamnaherin (Zone A) and landscaping activities ongoing throughout site. Line marking substantially complete from Claudy to Dungiven with works ongoing between Tamnaherin to Claudy. Signage and ITS to follow.

Paving and verge concrete to eastern verge to be completed mid-April 2022, being used by A6 traffic, side road works continue.

Paving works ongoing planned to be available to traffic in June 2022.
