Progress Update October 2021

Cut and fill operations are substantial complete with excavation works ongoing at Tamnaherin (Zone A) and verge filling ongoing site wide. Mainline drainage outfall works at ponds ongoing at Liberty Glen, Brackfield (Zone B) Killaloo, Claudy and Ballyhanedin (Zone D).

Culvert works complete at Fawney (Zone A) and Gortilea (Zone D) and lining and access tracks working ongoing to ponds site wide.

Side roads works ongoing at Dungiven tie-in point which is currently under traffic management control along with Killunaght Rd (Zone E) in preparation of opening structure to traffic. Kerbing and gully works ongoing at Feeny junction with kerbs, surfacing and footpath works ongoing at Baranailt Rd.

Pavement preparation and utilities ongoing at Killcatten, Killaloo junction (Zone C) and earthworks and drainage ongoing at Fawney Rd (Zone A).

Drainage and concrete works complete at Derrychrier and Killunaght West (Zone E) access tracks. Drainage and concrete works ongoing at Ballyhanedin and Gortilea East (Zone D) access track. Accommodation works at Baranailt Rd are substantially complete.

NIW works ongoing at Dungiven (Zone F) Killunaght (Zone E) Gulf (Zone C) and Fawney rd (Zone A) along with BT interaction ongoing at Killcatten, Foreglen Rd, Claudy (Zone C), Killunaght (Zone E) along with fencing ongoing at Ballyhanedin Gortilea (Zone D) and Foreglen (Zone E).

Grass seeding and plant maintenance preparation is ongoing along with hedgerow cultivation.
