Traffic management update – Closure of Claudy Westbound Compact Connector

Roadworks will be undertaken between Munrearry and Owenbeg from week commencing 29th May 2023 on the “old” A6 Foreglen Rd for approx. 6 weeks.

These works will need some lane closures and hard shoulder/footway closures and a closure of the “eastern” access to Foreglen village for approximately 1 week.

These works are required to enhance the pedestrian facilities and construct new carriageway crossing points along with associated road markings.

When undertaking work of this nature, on a project on this scale, unfortunately some disruption will be inevitable, and any inconvenience caused is regretted. However please be assured we will do everything in our power to keep inconvenience to a minimum.

These works are weather dependent and scheduled dates are subject to change.
