Traffic Management Update June 2020
During the closure a signed diversion will be in place via Feeny Road, Baranailt Road South and A6 Foreglen Road for road users. Local access will be maintained.
The closure requires deep excavation activities. The three drainage pipes to be installed require an excavation 3m deep depth underground and the pipes are 450mm, 375mm and 225mm in diameter.

The Magheramore Road will close on Thursday 18th June at 0600hrs to Friday 19th June 2020 at 2200hrs between the new Teeavan Link Road and the old Teeavan Road junction.
During the closure a signed diversion will be in place via Magheramore Road, Carnanbane Road and Feeny Road. Local access will be maintained.
This closure is required to install a total of 8 beams for the new Magheramore Road Overbridge.

When carrying out work of this nature large machinery is used which takes up the full width of the road and leaves insufficient room for traffic to pass by safely. Therefore, it is essential for these short term closures to complete the work in a safe manner.
