There will be new road layout at Drumahoe on the A6 Glenshane Rd at Tirbracken Rd Junction. From Friday 4th March 2022 at 2000hrs all traffic approaching the existing A6 Glenshane Rd will be transferred onto the new section of the A6 Road at the new roundabout on Tirbracken Rd. Road users will remain on the new road layout to Belfast, Dungiven and Claudy, and a junction will be provided at the old Fawney Rd for residents of the existing A6 Glenshane Rd and Lismacarol Rd/ Park travelling to Derry/ L’Derry. Local and pedestrian access will be maintained.

  • A6 Lane closures Drumahoe-Tamnaherin with phased traffic switches to accommodate linemarking.

Continuous TM–

  • Tirbracken Road/Drumahoe Roundabout/P&R Drumahoe/Gortica link from Roundabout Closure
  • Ardmore Rd Closure
  • Mavis Rd Closure
  • Closure of Ervey Rd from A6 Glenshane Rd to Birch Rd
